The Cantina at Presidio is the third concept and restaurant by Huyer Club Concepts, LLC.  Owned by local Estrella resident Deborah Huyer and operated by family members Forrest Williams, Executive Chef and Brenda Williams, General Manager.  The Cantina at Presidio is their newest addition to Estrella, joining Lakeside Grill and Café Bebida.

As local residents and foodies Deborah Huyer and family were frustrated with the lack of quality, chef driven restaurants in the area and were tired of driving “down the hill” to eat and finding only large chain restaurants to choose from.

 
 

When the café at Starpointe became available Deborah calling on her experience as a European trained chef, her son’s Forrest experience and a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and his wife’s experience in the front of house service and hospitality industry, they created and filled a need in Estrella Mountain Ranch for high quality, made from scratch club style cuisine. With the dining room located in the old Library along with fireplace, and seating on the Patio overlooking North Lake, they quickly became the go to place for the community to hang out and have attracted guests from outside the area who make the drive “up the hill”.

 
 

With the opening of Estrella’s Welcome Center, Café Bebida was born. Bebida is Spanish for drinks, and the café serves up all kinds of Espresso, Tea, Smoothies and specialty drinks to fuel those visitors who come for hiking, biking, climbing the Star Tower or just relaxing by one of the fountains or fireplaces. Surrounded by the Sonoran desert in the Estrella Mountains, it has quickly become a destination spot to get out and enjoy the outdoor seating areas, fountains and magical views.
